As Communications Manager, Dima manages ICMP’s communications and public information activities. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing communications strategies across programs and managing media relations. Dima works with a team of communications specialists to ensure that stakeholders and donors are familiar with ICMP’s mandate and that the organization’s worldwide operations are visible and well understood.
Dima has more than a decade of professional experience in public information and communications with international organizations. Before joining ICMP, she worked at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague; before that, she held positions with a number of international and local NGOs in Beirut, Cairo, and London. Her experience includes roles at the Carnegie Middle East Center, War Child Holland, and the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, where she was responsible for project management.
Dima holds a master’s degree in International Law with a specialization in Human Rights Law from the School of Oriental and African Studies, the University of London, and a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the American University in Cairo.
