Gobernanza
La Junta de Comisionados supervisa las labores de la ICMP. La Directora General gestiona y dirige la organización, con el apoyo de los directores que gestionan los programas transversales. El Acuerdo de la ICMP establece una Conferencia de Estados Parte que se reúne al menos cada tres años y un Comité Financiero, que se reúne anualmente.
Hasta la fecha, nueve países —Luxembourgo, Países Bajos, Suecia, Reino Unido, Chile, Chipre, Serbia, Afganistán y Alemania— son Estados Parte del Acuerdo de la ICMP, y Bélgica y el Salvador son Estados Signatarios.

Born to an Arab-American family distinguished for its public service, she received a degree in Architecture and Urban Planning from Princeton University prior to working on international urban planning and design projects in Australia, Iran, the United States and the Arab world. She married His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan in 1978.
Queen Noor’s work in Jordan and the Arab world has focused on national and regional human security in the areas of education, conservation, sustainable development, human rights and cross-cultural understanding. Since 1979, the initiatives of the Noor Al Hussein Foundation and the King Hussein Foundation, which she founded and chairs, have transformed development thinking in Jordan and the Middle East through pioneering best practice programs in the fields of poverty eradication and women’s empowerment, microfinance, health, and the arts as a medium for social development and cross-cultural exchange. The Foundations provide training and capacity building expertise in these areas in the broader Arab and Asian regions.
A long-time advocate for a just Arab-Israeli peace and for Palestinian refugees, Queen Noor is a Director of Refugees International and an outspoken voice for the protection of civilians in conflict and displaced persons around the world. She has also been an expert advisor to the United Nations focusing on implementation of the Millennium Development Goals in Central Asia and on behalf of Colombia’s displaced.
Queen Noor has been an advisor to, and global advocate for, the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and is a founding leader of Global Zero, an international movement working for the worldwide elimination of nuclear weapons. Comité Financiero
El Comité Financiero se reúne anualmente y es el principal foro en el que se presenta la estrategia financiera de ICMP a los donantes.
El Comité Financiero representa a los Estados Parte que han apoyado con financiación a ICMP durante el periodo examinado. El Comité Financiero revisa el informe de actividades de ICMP para el año anterior y el año siguiente, adopta recomendaciones sobre la gestión financiera de ICMP, y examina y aprueba las normas financieras de ICMP y su formato de presentación de informes.
Foro Mundial sobre Personas Desaparecidas
En el Foro Global participan la Junta de Comisarios, el Grupo de Expertos y el Comité Interinstitucional, así como organizaciones de la sociedad civil y representantes de las familias de las personas desaparecidas. El Foro Global refleja la diversidad de las cuestiones relacionadas con las personas desaparecidas y la diversidad de posibles soluciones.
Como mecanismo para el intercambio de ideas y propuestas prácticas basadas en la pericia y la experiencia, el Foro Global está concebido para identificar los problemas comunes a los que se enfrentan los países y las familias de todo el mundo y buscar soluciones a nivel internacional y nacional. A través de foros políticos, conferencias y publicaciones, el Foro Global trata de extender el debate público sobre la cuestión de las personas desaparecidas, destacando las necesidades de los supervivientes y las exigencias de la sociedad.

Queen Noor’s work in Jordan and the Arab world has focused on national and regional human security in the areas of education, conservation, sustainable development, human rights and cross-cultural understanding. Since 1979, the initiatives of the Noor Al Hussein Foundation and the King Hussein Foundation, which she founded and chairs, have transformed development thinking in Jordan and the Middle East through pioneering best practice programs in the fields of poverty eradication and women’s empowerment, microfinance, health, and the arts as a medium for social development and cross-cultural exchange. The Foundations provide training and capacity building expertise in these areas in the broader Arab and Asian regions.
A long-time advocate for a just Arab-Israeli peace and for Palestinian refugees, Queen Noor is a Director of Refugees International and an outspoken voice for the protection of civilians in conflict and displaced persons around the world. She has also been an expert advisor to the United Nations focusing on implementation of the Millennium Development Goals in Central Asia and on behalf of Colombia’s displaced.
Queen Noor has been an advisor to, and global advocate for, the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and is a founding leader of Global Zero, an international movement working for the worldwide elimination of nuclear weapons. She represented Global Zero at the historic 2009 UN Security Council meeting and was an advisor to the 2010 documentary film, Countdown to Zero about the escalating global nuclear arms threat.
Queen Noor has focused extensively on the Balkans since her first humanitarian mission in 1996, after the Fall of Srebrenica.
Queen Noor has been an ICMP Commissioner since June 2001.

She married His Majesty King Hussein bin Talal of Jordan in 1978.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
