As Director of the Science and Technology Program, Ingo Bastisch has responsibility for ICMP’s human identification operations, including archaeology, anthropology and the DNA laboratory.
Before joining ICMP at the beginning of 2024, Ingo was head of the DNA laboratory at the German Federal Criminal Police office (BKA) for 15 years. Throughout that time, he was engaged in a variety of cooperation activities with ICMP. Ingo’s forensic expertise is in Biology.
