This section makes available a massive volume of new information on the issue, examining where persons are missing in the world, the circumstances of their disappearance and what, if anything is being done to address the issue in a given context. Countries have not been selected according to a fixed criteria and the nature and scale of the problem varies from country to country. More countries and more information will be added to this section continuously.
