As Program Manager, Sheila has responsibility for build relationships with stakeholders as ICMP works to support Indian Residential School (IRS) Survivors, families and communities who wish to find or identify loved ones in Unmarked Graves associated with the former IRS schools. 

Sheila joined ICMP in January 2023, after more than 15 years working as a journalist and as an elected leader for her people.  Sheila is an author, film maker and an advocate for her people, with a special focus on Missing and Murdered Indigenous People.  Sheila graduated from Red River College and studied at the University of Winnipeg.
